ColorA Poem by Weston R.I wrote this at the Milwaukee Youth Social Justice Forum.
Do you see the children bother
with such things? It seems the more adult we get, the child in us grows too, and the children are the most adult. Who knew color always plays a role? The children care about red or blue, while the adults worry about white or black, which begs the simple question of why? It's all stupid to me. Childish. Silly. We feel that way about red and blue but it's time to face the children we really are. © 2011 Weston R.Author's Note
