Mask

Mask

A Poem by Weston R.
"

This is who I am.

"
To my mask:

I've relied on you,
through thick and thin,
through good and bad,
through love and hate.

So much so,
that I've forgotten who I am
underneath the laughs,
underneath the smiles,
underneath the lies.

And now,
I'm saying goodbye
to the sleepless nights,
to the tears shed,
to the stifled emotions.

We soon shall see,
who I really am,
who I've been,
who I will be.

Goodbye and good riddance,

Me,

My bisexuality,
And my true face.
