Prowling, lurking, enticing with the

Reassurance that it’s completely

Okay to put it off until tomorrow.

Creativity is best when fermented,

Right?

After all, why

Strain yourself on a

Task when in the end you say,

It would have been easier to ‘take my time?’

No, says your common sense, it would not.

All that you actually work on is stress.

Tension and stress. And yet,

In the end, that other force always comes out

On top, and you become it’s

Next victim.
