Loathing

Loathing

A Poem by Jemima Laing

I don’t even know who I am

Yet I hate myself

Trying to remake myself

Who do I want to be?

Anyone but me

I looked in the mirror today

And did not recognize

What I could see

I did not recognize me

I looked inside myself

And despised what I saw

I asked myself one question

Could I let this thing live?

I honestly don’t know

It’s really up in the air

Whichever way works

I can’t bring myself to care

Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
