Flying Free

Flying Free

A Poem by Jemima Laing

I can feel my spirit soar above

As I stretch my limits

Like ethereal wings to lift me

Up and up past all the pain

I'm done with having to fight

I always lose the battle

Because a great victory

Is still a funeral ceremony

I'd much rather be flying free

Soaring overhead through life

Making big changes over time

Not too high to hear what others say

Not too low to have no effect on my future

About
Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
