Eb and flow

Eb and flow

A Poem by Jemima Laing

My imagination goes drip drip drip

Contracting as it passes into the world

Through the constricting wall of my vocabulary

And then expanding as it gains its freedom

Like a droplet of water forcing its way

Out into the wide open beauty of life

Where soars through the air

And dances across the rooftops

To finally lay on the pavement, exhausted

Every movement lethargic as it recovers

And makes it’s way to the flowing rivers

To be recycled and used again by others

Ending on the lips of unsuspecting strangers

Who never knew its true origin, and never will

Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
