Part One (I can't think of a real title yet)

Part One (I can't think of a real title yet)

A Poem by Jemima Laing

It comes to us as a stranger

Wishing us not harm or ill

It comes to us unnoticed on Pain's coattails

To disguise the truth of it's will

It comes to us to comfort, offer solace where it can

And becomes our constant companion

It drives all friends away

Those who we knew so well

It drives us to seek more

More twisted souls for hell

It drives its claws into our hearts

And rips our humanity away

It becomes us completely

A master in its land

It becomes so discreetly

We have no final stand

It becomes, and conquers

And reveals the full insanity

It comes with a façade

Using false reason to procreate

It comes under many names

There are some who call it Hate

Hate comes to destroy us all

And we do nothing, but heed Hates call
