My parents still love me

My parents still love me

A Poem by Jemima Laing

My father is okay with me

My father is not mad

My father is okay with me

My father is not sad

My father still loves me

My father still hugs me

My father is not petty or coy

My father merely wishes

That I had been born a boy

My mother still loves me

Mt mother does not judge

After all my bisexuality

Is part of who I am

But my mother wonders

As she wondered all along

Just what she'd done wrong

All these assumptions

Were what first came to mind

But now I realize, a little late

That my parents still love me

For who I am to them

And that love will not end

And who I am does not offend

Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
