Smile

Smile

A Poem by Jemima Laing

I'm so amazingly frustrated

Is my whole life a lie?

You told me I could live my dream

But always when I try

I hit the sold wall

Of your disapproving eye

The American Dream has off and died

There's no room for it anymore

When I learned this, I sat and cried

I'll live your ideal life

I'll be your perfect little child

But don't expect me to ever, ever smile

Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
