Let's Dance

Let's Dance

A Poem by Jemima Laing

Let us dance

Under the multitude of stars

Let us dance tonight

As the moon lights the sky

Let's dance the night away

And enjoy the silence

That only solitude can bring

Let's dance in the rain

That will wash our fears away

Let's dance in the fog

That shelters us from the world

Let's make the most of what we have

And dance together tonight

Before the sun chases our little world

To an irreparable demise
