Flying

A Poem by Jemima Laing
"

There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama and the people who create it and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good. After all, life is too short to b

"

So let's let go of what we once knew

Trust to luck to give us wings

As we plummet towards the earth

Trust that the burden that has been lifted

Like leaves on the wind

Leave all the worldly woes behind

All the drama that makes us so blind

Let them fade as whispers on the wind

Something to be forgotten and lost

Because they're not worth the cost

Find people who care and love you

Find those who make you laugh

Because life is far to short

To be weighted down by sadness

And you're too important

To have to deal with this madness
