Fy Lufu: Letter One

Fy Lufu: Letter One

A Poem by Jemima Laing

Fy Lufu,

Long and lean

in body and mind

every muscle toned

and keen

Across the room you enter

I sit here in my chair

And hold my breath

As you hold my gaze

A knowing smile on your face

Strong and sure you stand

I sway, swoon, and tremble

We are preditor and prey

But the roles reverse each day

Today you gaze

As I look away

I'm not yours to take

Because of my mistake

I'm sorry for this

If I had known

But I guess I did

If I had acknowledged

These feelings within

Not much to say. I tend to be influenced by whatever music I am listening to. I also miss-spell many words. My passions include massive amounts of reading and fencing. I do tend break out in song rand.. more..
