WindowsA Poem by voidsparrowno clue where this came fromstaring up at the arrogant windows were they reflective once? i have to say i dont know but ill be damned if they lust after anything but dust blown to them on silver platters. long gone are the legs that carried the concrete, caged creatures simply taking root at the spot where they fell, no strength left to stand helpless in the summer heat. laying face up, breaking bread with the spiders living large; unaware of the shadows tattooed in the yard by the sun so vengeful beating down hard on the previously reflective windows, now cooking the people inside. © 2010 voidsparrow |
