finders keepersA Poem by voidsparrowabout a bookthere was a thunderless thunderclap slung forth across the sky for all to hear, regardless of the acceptance or perhaps lack thereof. a flock of birds dove out of the way skwaking "Gangway, M***********s!" and losing a few feathers in the process, startled as they were. as the private jet finally finished its flaming decent there was a second thunderclap, although it was a tad muffled, the sound eminating from the dirt this time. among the flying desbris, a small book, unseen by anyone, and slightly burnt, spun to the earth on its own haphazard vector, taking out two butterflies, seven gnats, and a bumblebee before coming to rest in a tall birch. no one found it, and it remains exactly where it fell that day, patiently open and waiting for only the spiders to read. © 2010 voidsparrowReviews
