LIBRARY!

LIBRARY!

A Poem by voidsparrow
"

i liked the bellevue library when i was living nearby

"
i think i am in love with
the king county bellevue library
which is about 8 blocks from my house
next to a restaraunt of some sort.
its on 110th avenue
and i always pass the transit center
on the walks to and from, where lots of
people can be seen doing people things
picking noses, walking dogs, stealing purses...
anyway, the library is full of books,
as any decent library should be.
good books, bad books, small books, tall books,
books about airplanes and books about furniture,
books about people who wrote lots of books
about airplanes and furniture
and sometimes war.
there are magazines, too
but no one gives a s**t about them
because they just dont have enough substance.
or maybe they arent thick enough.
the library is quiet and the people are quiet
and the college girls are hot and also quiet
and i would never want to disturb all of this quietness
so i put my phone on vibrate and turn down my shoes.
that way no one will know that im listening to them.

i write when i am inspired to do so. the price we pay for eliminating our ignorance is, unfortunately, eliminating some of the bliss that is associated with it. truth is ephemeral. it evolves a.. more..
