staring at the skyA Poem by voidsparrowsummer does things to me sometimesstaring like a mental patient at a passing 747, i refrain from catching myself in the act. the day is too beautiful to let myself be overcome with self conciousness. several hundred bodies going severl hundred MPH fly overhead without even the slightest clue i am watching them like a deer caught in headlights. when the trees sever my eyes from the jumbo jet i notice that my jaw is agape. so i close it and walk on like a regular human being concerned with my image. © 2010 voidsparrow |
