Lock Them Away

I suppose this could go under something better than horror but I cannot seem to find a better place to put it at the moment. There was no real plan to this poem. I wrote on a whim. Enjoy it

Away with emotions

Away with the pain

Away with these feelings

Please keep them at bay

 

No longer do I wish to feel

The hurt becomes to much

Everything is weighing me down

I must lock myself up

 

Break my insides

Bleed them dry

Kill my good intentions

Leave me to die

 

This world no longer matters

In the eyes of all men

Bodies lay like cadavers

The crows feed on you then

 

Bright shining objects

Will glisten in the sun

Hide your belongings

What else can be done?

 

These emotions must go

No longer inside

Lock them away

Leave your soul to finally die
