This story will be a TRILOGY! There is no way I could do my characters justice, if I cram it all into one book. In my dream that I had, which prompted me to create and develop this story, my dream was quite epic and that is what I hope to create. Constructive criticism please! <3 Thank you! <3 This novel is a work in progress. Writing to me can be a slow process especially when I am passionate about something. I will write a page and then immediately go back and edit before going on. I do this because I really do want this book to be published someday! Also if you see any grammatical errors or if something does not make sense please let me know!
***Its about the power of love, survival, and trying to stay in touch with your human-ness despite all the horrors that are happening around you!

I write and edit as I go. I write whatever I have (usually a scene or two) then rewrite. I often go back and alter scenes if I write something later that needs more info earlier in the book. It hasn't slowed me down all that much. Keep at it.
Dean Koontz writes two books a year and says he never leaves a page until it has been rewritten to his satisfaction. I think that might be a little too much... but it works for him. It might for you.
Government Conspiracy, killer flu and Alien Invasion?! Some writers try to tackle one or two of those at best, but you just had to go all out didn't you?
So, I like the basic concept of this, but I'll have to read more before I can give any kind of opinion. I must read on.
I am really enjoying this story so far! I've been reading it as you post it and the details are just perfect! Looking forward to more as you get it written

You are missing a great opportunity by writing and editing at the same time. Let your words flow out of you and put it all down. When you get further into the story you find yourself saying "I wish I had placed something about this earlier in the book as a hint or hanger..." When you go back to edit, then you can add, delete, change directions because now you know where your story is actually heading. You will think of new characters, places to add meaning or ambiance that will take on a new meaning later or give the story that ah-ha moment farther in. If you edit immediately, you lock yourself into the flow and are hard pressed to be able to change it as easily. When a painter paints, they paint in layers, adding emotions to the painting as if emerges before them. It changes and evolves. It isn't until the end, when no more flows from the artists soul that the finishing touches are placed. Think of writing, as layers. Hope this helps.
