Wanderer's Heart

Wanderer's Heart

A Poem by vlhunter

A wind is in my heart, a fire in my soul.
There is nothing left for me, nothing can make whole.
I long for the ocean, where a shout cannot be heard.
To leave the streets and the lights, for a sail.
The crashing of tide and the mist of the sea
It cries, it cries to me!
Brick and stone can no longer satisfy this heart.
Only the ocean can fill the longing in the soul.
I've been longing to explore you, & unlock your secrets.
I'm coming, I'm coming to you my dear.
