From the Point of View of a Freshly Scrubbed FloorA Poem by VeronicaFor the Weird Writers Prompt group. The kids all look at the 'wet floor' sign. Then they look at me.
I'm clean. I'm shiny. I'm slippery. I'm awesome.
I'm tiled and cream-colored. The walls are also a cream color to match me.
Then one kid slips on me. Ouch. That hurt.
But that's how it is everytime I'm freshly scrubbed. © 2010 VeronicaAuthor's Note
