Tomorrow

Jade does something she never thought she would.

 It’s tomorrow.

 I’m gonna break up with him and I’m right beside him, in the library at school. I’m shaking and shaking and just can’t seem to get it off my mind.

 Magnus apparently noticed me shaking, since the next thing I knew he asked, “Are you cold?”

 I didn’t want to lie, so I said, “No…I have to tell you something though.”

 “What is it, babe?” asked Magnus.

 “Uh- well…you know how your dad is old-fashioned?” I started off asking.

I thought to myself why I had to be so blunt all the time, maybe I’ll have to put my foot in my mouth someday…

 “Ya, why?” asked Magnus.

 “Well…it’s kind of getting in the way of our relationship and we just can’t really have fun….,” I replied.

 “Oh, so all those dates we had and the make outs everyday were for nothing?” asked Magnus, raising his voice.

 “No- it’s just…I want to have a good relationship…so I guess this is goodbye…,” I finally said.

 I had to run to the bathroom before Magnus could catch up to me.

 I heard him mutter, “B***h…”
