An Apology

I told Kelsea, and this wasn't because it was my phone we were using, it was because of something else, "Kelse, let me talk to him first," and I only called Kelsea that when it was important.

 

She nodded ok, as he answered, "Who is this?"

 

I said, "Hey Jason, I know you don't want to talk to me right now, but I'm sorry for this morning," (it was noon now.) as I heard him reply,

 

"It's alright, it happend all the time in school," as I said, kinda surprised,

 

"How? I never noticed," as his next sentence surprised me,

 

"That's because I went along with it, but you remember last summer, those kinds of things happened, and I felt kinda awkward," he revealed.

 

I said, "I noticed that, but, oh nevermind, I'm wasting your time," as he said,

 

"Don't leave when I'm about to tell you something," he started.

 

I said, "Go on," and he did,

 

"I'm not gonna blame you if you get mad, but Dawn kissed me, and I'll admit this right now, I'm just not ready for a relationship," he finished.

 

"Well, I'm not mad since you told me that straight up, and I believe you on that part, just one thing, why do you talk to me even though you hate me?" I asked.

 

He replied, "I don't know what to tell you," as I said,

 

"Ok, that's alright, and hey, here's Kelsea," I said, as I handed the phone to Kelsea.

 

Kelsea said, "Hi," as Jason told her how Dawn kissed her, and they just said bye and that was that.

 

It was also time to go to the pool, so me and Kelsea went on our bikes, and set off for the pool straight down Sycamore Rd.
