It's More than Just Ice Cream....

I was about to walk home from the local pool, as I got enough courage to do something I thought of doing since January. The day was June 12th, the time was 6:50 PM. I knew I was going to be late going home, but I didn't really care. And I also had left over ice cream cake on my mouth that I didn't know about at the moment, but honestly, I probably wouldn't care. So, as soon as I got the opportunity of beign alone with Casey, I got down to business. I stopped him in his tracks saying, "I got a little surprise for ya."

 

He said annoyed, "What now?" And he didn't notice the clearly visible ice cream cake on my lips, and he probably wouldn't care anyways. I walked up to him and laid a kiss upon his cheek, with ice cream in the spot I kissed him at. I noticed the ice cream, got embarrassed and wiped it off him.

 

I said to him, looking into his eyes, with a snicker, as his face was staring at me, stunned, with a what the heck look, "Happy birthday," as I left, walking out of there.

 

I felt good about it, yet bad at the same time. I wondered what he would think about me now, but that would be for tomorrow, today is still going on.
