Chapter 1: Craziness

First off, I am currently a 7th grader at an awesome middle school, and yes, this story does use real first names, but last names aren’t mentioned. I am walking to school and am thinking it’ll just be another day, but, no, here’s my story.

I am walking down the road to my middle school, and I enter, and go down to where my locker is, and, I saw somebody else there, someone who was supposed to be an 8th grader. I said to him, “Hey, this is my locker, how do you know the combo?”

He said, “No, it’s my locker, and, if it’s yours then what’s the combo?”

I said, “Never mind…” So, I thought that one of the teachers knew, so, I walked up to my math teacher and said to him, “Isn’t this my locker, Mr.B?”

He said, “Do I know you young lady?”

I said, “Why wouldn’t you, I’m in your ACMP class!” as I pulled out my school I.D. with the B sticker on to prove I was on 7B.

He said, “Making fake I.D.’s, and marking them with the year 2009-2010? I guess you are considered a 7th grader then, but I don’t know what to do.”

I said, “So you know who I am?”

He said, “No, I think you are a little crazy, but I appreciate your honesty, but, one more thing to verify it, may I see your schedule?”

I said, “Sure,” and pulled it out.

He glanced at it, and said, “By golly, you are right, you are in my ACMP, but, what is ACMP?”

I thought, ‘Duh, it only came this year.’

I said, “Never mind, you’ll find out later.”

He said, “Okay, but what I do with you?”

“I could go to my 6th grade homeroom,” I said, pointing to the door right in front of us, which was Mrs.C’s room.

He said, “Okay, but do you mind if I explain the situation to them, and, can you tell me your 6th grade schedule later?”

I said, “I don’t mind, and yes, I will tell you.”

He said, “Good, but I’m running short on time, mind if you come to my room with me, and then I can go to her room and sort this out.”

I said, “Sure, I know the way!”

I walked in the room, and he introduced me, then got someone to take care of the class while he took me.

Once I got in the room, I saw the people coming in for math, including my 6th grade self. I looked at myself and everybody else, and the person that was, ‘me’ stared back at me with a weird look, and so did everybody else.

Mr.B said, “Go ahead, Veronica, explain, I’ll talk to Mrs.C in the hall for a bit.”

I nodded my head and looked at everybody, and said, “Hello, my name is Veronica L.”

They said, “You serious?!”

I said, “Yup,” and pointed to my 6th grade self, saying, “This was me.”

My 6th ‘mini me’, said, “What?”

I said, “You know what, this isn’t vital info right now, what I want to say is a few things, and we can say them at lunch. Meet me in the deserted area of the blacktop, all of you, and over the next few days, I will talk to some of you in private sometime.”

They nodded they’re heads and said, “Okay.”

Then, I asked, “What year is this?” just to make sure.

They said, “2009,” and I fainted.
