Compost

Compost

A Poem by Vlazuvius
"

I guess everyone has at least one contemplating death poem. I tried to look on the bright side of things.

"

I
Singularly
One body decaying
My mind's eye
Seperating
Like curdled cream
My putrid flesh
Chaffed like wheat
To pull my soul
From spoiled meat
And meet my maker
Or maybe not
Either way I
Continue to rot
Sink to the roots
Dance with the worms
Embrace the earth
Fully
For in life I used her
But now we've come to terms

This is really great! In this piece i felt it all come full circle, from you dying, to 'coming to terms' with the earth. I like that you connected it to that.
Great job!
Love,
K
