Unvoid: Darkness Calling

Unvoid: Darkness Calling

A Chapter by Dr. Woogygoo

I reminisced some time ago

In happenstance of beatnik stars

Celestial as they were

Trying to be sane

They ought not to have lied

They were true in abstract

But since their demise our world has been skinned

the truth was always there

Shall we now proceed to the unknown or wallow in dust?

The latter is more attractive

than it gets credit for

Either way we end up in chaos; the meanderings of old savants

Align piece by piece as we fall

To that place which has us swinging from its fingers

Amaranthine strings mediate our finite fears

These fingers form wishful rhapsodies

Abounding in the longings of archaic jowls

Hungry for the final salvation left on Earth

It would be fool’s practice to take heed in comfort

When gaping holes block out the sun

Blotches on the human map, dismayed

Ignored until tattered: let tatter, if all else fails

See what may come, divide your paper scraps

Until they are nought, until they are stars in the sky

Why do vacuous holes intimidate in stillness?

I dreamt that I had patience

and I found out.

About
Canadian. University student. When it comes to reading, I prefer horror and fantasy. When it comes to writing, I'd call myself a horror writer. But I love the idea of writing fantasy-horror as well. O.. more..
