The dawn

I’ve never written poems. To tell the truth, I’m not a real fan of poetry. But I felt so stressed, angry and miserable so I needed to express those feelings somehow.

The dawn
You were my everything
But seems I was your nothing.
You ruined everything
When I tried to save the last thing.

I hate the fact that I don’t hate you
Even though I really tried to do it.
Just something always makes me love you
Even though you don’t deserve it.

Sometimes I wish I never knew you
Sometimes I wish you were not that,
That kind that I just can’t pass by,
That kind that I will never find.

I won’t forget you needed me
To just heal your pain.
I won’t forget you left me
Every time you felt ok.

But now I’m trying moving on.
You’ll never know what I feel.
You only liked me at the dawn
I was there anytime you squeal.

This person just wants you to make them feel better, and when that is accomplished... when they get what they need, they will leave or start treating you like s**t. It's actually a quite common dynamic in early relationships... but it's also a huge red flag that this person does not really care about you as an individual, they are just using you as an emotional and/or physical device. That relationship was always going to end poorly. You are going to find as you get older that on average men are far less emotionally mature than women. Most men are emotionally illiterate, don't let it get you down... just don't be afraid to say goodbye to dead weight. We have to be very careful who we choose to spend our emotional energy on.
