Feelings of Longing

A poem written in desperation.... and sorrow, to the one who'll never be mine again.

 

There has been many a day,

When I simply looked at you with nothing to say.

 

There is no one in the world as lovely as you,

This is never gonna be a cliché, ‘coz it’s true.

 

Why do you melt my knees with your smile?

 I need them, because for you, I’ll run many a thousand mile.

 

I need you to help me find my path,

‘Coz when I with you, this genius heart forgets simple math.

 

Please do me a favour and stay with me for now,

I pray to let time bow , to make this one moment seem infinitely slow.
