Talking LivesA Poem by Vivek IyengarPhilosophical musings of a young guy about life...
I‘ve been too lucky, But nothing is forever. My time too is coming, I can feel it. And when it does, I’ll be prepared.
There are only two things you can do, When in the middle of a storm;
You can either write your own destiny, By chaining yourself to your immovable
rock of belief;
Or get buffeted by the storm, And be a part of the debris, like
everyone else.
You have the right, the power & the
duty to be happy, No one can take those away from you, not
even yourself.
So, go do whatever it takes to keep the
smile on your face. Fight for it if you have to, nothing
matters more than a smiling heart.
There will be people you don’t understand
however hard you try, In times like these, listen to your heart;
you will know whether they really matter.
Never hold a grudge against anyone. Kill it before it slowly tortures you to
death.
Time is the healing factor, and love is
the abundant catalyst. You need both of them, because remember,
life is as small as a new-born’s fist.
