bittersweet

bittersweet

A Poem by vivekanand

walking down a masochist street,
thinking of your eyes, uncertain and judging
seeking catharsis in pain and the afternoon sun..
parched of love and the last drop of water,
mind and body singularly in search of a soul,
mocking the eastern mystic with a dead man's smile..
the last thought before i fall , as if it werent the first
is you...
and vaguely the smell of green grass and fresh soil...

...
. ah! ... the aroma of new found expression and new found mystery ... but not without a heady shot of pain ... the hardest thing in the world is not judging but living with an incorrect judgment ... yet the beautiful remain beautiful ... like you said the smell of green grass and fresh soil ... and that's perhaps the beauty of life ...
