PART 1 - ONCE UPON A TIME IN RUSSIA
a socialistic dream visits me
halfway through the troubled day .. in my naked brain , a serpent traces my vision to the blind medieval pasts.. anger creeps up the branches of my being my feet stop in their usual tracks.. swords drawn in the whetting stone of a bearded german jew, we travel through the snow decked steppes blood of the serf splattered like polka dots.. through fire and steel , we quench the thirst of the orphaned mother of odessa staircase.. we revenge the maggot meal of the dead sailor. and then we marched again .... to the tsar's forbidden palace PART 2- THE ANIMAL FARM boxer moans in distress .. muscles aflame with pain but for the heart that still trusts and hopes in the fruits of a revolution , he is all but dead... in sorrow , we follow the black truck that takes him away.. then the other day the pigs dress up in suit and tie and made deals with dirty humans in the round tables of the dead tsar... and we morph into caricatures of an orwellian novel.. in its tirade against the pig, eric blair sides with humans and we know from his knowing smile.. he is on the side of the "more equals"... PART 3.. THE BASS GUITAR and we heard the guitar.. its bass chords at the stroke of mid night .. the long bearded german jew turning in his grave.. the hoofs of boxer sounding in the distance.. they said a new band has come to town and there is a concert and then it rained , miraculously... that summer night © 2010 vivekanand |
