Life choices

Life choices

A Poem by Joseph Cooper
"

Existential musings on life

"

One may live life locked inside a cage

Waiting for love to open his doors

Or to escape on the wings of a sage

And with him to the heavens soar.

One may walk bravely into fire

And decidedly be burnt

Spurning the masses ire

And with his scars, a lesson learnt.

As the sun slowly dies

And darkness feels soon

The blackest of skies

Comes shining a bright moon.
