StormsA Poem by Alice KaparelliAs I sit on my porch I watch the storm Icy and blustery I can't help but wonder why Life must be this way. Why the clouds in my mind Create the spinning cyclones That rattle my unstable emotions. The horrendous hurricanes That shatter the glassy heavens And slash the fragile blue sky, They're so easy to bypass But the tornadoes that tear my soul and lacerate my heart Are impossible to elude. © 2013 Alice KaparelliAuthor's Note
