Nightingale

Nightingale

A Poem by Where the night sky and fallen blossoms meet
"

Something I personally enjoy, falling asleep to someone talking. Its very calming to me ~

"
come come I pray you to come
walk with me to where I lay
part your lips and let out your voice

Soft and subtle
Sweet and soothing

Let me close my eyes and let my ears see you
may darkness wrap around me tightly

Warm and safe
Calm and happy

It doesn't matter what you talk about
from how your day went to news on the television
A prayer, a bed time story, random thoughts of the day

even
Inventions of the century

I want to hear your voice as I fall deeper into my dreams
come come I pray you
to be my nightingale, the lullaby my pure heart craves
right before I become lost to the world

Please come come I pray you
sing to me the song of the night

beautiful and vivid. although there were cliches (avoid it!) still it's nice. it can be made to a song, you know :)
