the inner hungerA Poem by Where the night sky and fallen blossoms meetfinding strength in jealous and envy. Clarification of emotions and thoughts.Words slipping out eyes reading every letter happy you are, happy she is memories slither around on its smooth stomach hissing, calling for my attention that fork tongue the metal surrounding your lips I already knew what it was hungry for attention hungry to be free hungry for praising hungry for some affection Starving, unfathomable hunger undying thirst it isn't your love I crave it is your life my crush of you its my hungry strive to be you to be more than you break free of my own chains that hold me back fear wrapped around logic weights on my shoulder and ankles you are what I strive for clouded thoughts lead me to think I want you to have your attention, love, sweet whispers but you are nothing but a tease you are not want I want you are my ideal me I want out let loose the cold silky skin wrapping tightly around me the warm embrace my envy feeding my evil sin one day I will eat it whole it will be over and my hunger will be fed my thirst quenched your life would no longer appeal to me and soon enough you will envy me. © 2011 Where the night sky and fallen blossoms meet |
