StrippedA Poem by Izzy Skye
Your beauty had curled my existence into a bittersweet immortalness
When you left, you held my heart Am I not dead? I remain present only in spirit As I blend into the backround In every scene. As everyone fellowships engaging in heart felt laugher And warm embraces I stay seated on this Cold Metal Chair And imagine you. All that ive had is gone All that ive known is unfamiliar And since I only see you in dreams, I dread sun rise Awakening in a world in which you are non-existent will only diminish my will to live And if my fate holds a painful death, I am not afraid. For I have endured the most Excruciating Unpleasant sensation my body and mind will allow. The day the most crucial component to my soul was stripped Never to be returned again. © 2012 Izzy SkyeReviews
