HopeA Poem by TaraI've seen hope. It has eyes. Brown. Deep set. Unforgiving.
It sighs. Trembling with each sideways glance. The faint whisper of desire.
There are days it feels of torture. As it pounces unexpectedly willing expectations Creating traces of Sepia dreams.
It can be a mad creature. Stalking the crevices of mind It is that carrot dangling just over the pale horizon of a life Insistent in its unrelenting taunt. © 2008 TaraReviews
