Perspective

In respect and complete admiration for the way I am truly blessed to be loved by the only man in my life.

And to think you could love someone healthy,
a girl unplagued by aches, sadness and eternal sleepiness,
that you could love a soul much kinder and softer than mine,
it's more than often that I look at you wondering exactly what it is you see in me when most times I can't stand my very reflection;
more than curious to understand just how easily you make me feel so different,
so hopeful,
beautiful,
special; normal even,
 it is without you that I could never imagine my life again,
you are my every thought,
my waking and falling breath,
my dreams during the day as well as the ones in the night,
you are the voice I always long to hear and the eyes I always wish to see,
without you I'm not really me and so for perhaps the thousandth time but surely not the last,
I stand before you adoring you,
professing my undying love for you and everything you do,
you are sorcery, enchanting, magnetic, addictive, calming, hypnotic,
you are the antidote to every trouble in my life,
each smile a cure for my strife
So soon I shall beg for your presence, crave the warmth of your heart and skin,
drown in the magic of your eyes,
forget that anything in my life is but perfect;
so loving you once, forever and a day,
it is that once more and always again,
that I come to say, that love you I will for the rest of my days.
