...a falling leaf...

...a falling leaf...

A Poem by Vincent Esprit FMI
"

beauty is engrained in a falling leaf... www.esprit.aegauthorblog.com

"

A sight to behold,
As it glides through space and time,
Descending into its impending rest,
Embracing its destiny,
Within the comfort of its intentions,
Where not even the inevitable pull of gravity,
Does hasten its paste.
As in its poise of grace,
Its home is found.

great title. i , too, write about the falling leaves. something so deep and amazing about the leaf s cycle.
the line - embracing its destiny- is very powerful, inspirational.
somehow my favorite line is the one i understand least:
-within the comfort of its intentions,
and the rest, the end of the poem, as beautiful , moving as the beginning.

If all people embrace God's nature as does Father Esprit in this beautiful poem of a simple leaf falling....we would have much more respect for God's creation, His mysterious ways, and His boundless earthly beauty!

The imagery is profound, Father...I had a leaf falling like a feather...the beauty of nature.

Wow..
Its great....
Never before have I thought that there can be...
a deep philosophical piece thought lurking behind this falling leaf...
you upturned the image of falling leaves....in the minds of poet...
very creative.....
