A statement

words of a wise woman

 

 

Over this Past Pentecost weekend, while having a discussion this wise woman said this,

 

                 "To be adopted is to be chosen by love."

 

This literally blew my mind.  What do you think?

Real love…adopts the object of love….
It is a dedication….
Always ready to love…
Irrespective of merits…and demerits of the thing that has been adopted…..

I think that is correct.
It is unfortunate that adoption has become so necessary in a world where people have the drive to make children but are to selfish to raise them.
God bless the little children and those who watch over them, wisely and with no alterior motives.

Great statement of your Faith...I was adopted twice ....My earthly biological mother died and I was given up for adoption...Adopted by earthly parents who introduced me to the Heavenly adoption praise God..Sara
