One of the keys to having relationships is to accept people for who they are. We may want to challenge them to a more holistic growth, but what the heck, if they do not accept it, the relationship is still worth the effort. Their refusal could very well be an occasion for our very own perosnal growth.
This is so true, but sadly not many head to its message. Religion and Politics, are two examples of this message not being heeded to by the people. Funny thing is both, have a common purpose to bring people together for the good of man, but for some reason they seem to drive many away from each other. I wish more people would head to this message and be more accepting of other peoples beliefs. However, Sadly I don't think this will happen any time soon. We can all pray for this, but until we can accept the willingness to change in our hearts, it will never happen.
Your opinion is true. I dont know if we realize how we try to shape and form people to love them more when they are made to be the way they are. Sometimes difference is good. Nice job bro.

I understand exactly what it is you are trying to say but reads more like a blanket statement versus a poem.

Very difficult part of life is to see potential in another especially a family member or close friend or close friend's child and see that they are not growing and not living up to that but that is life we can only control ourselves and don't do a good job of that...Great writes seem to flow from your pen..Sunflower
Beautifully written. I think it speaks volumes, though it is only a few words long.
This is specially important in times like these to understand that we need to put some effort in order to maintain any relationship and we should also realize that having unrealistic expectations from any relation does not help in sustaining it
i like your way of thinking. i strive to understand others as best i can, if not, i strive not to judge them in anyway, unless it be possitive critism. yeah...like, even though its not in tradidtional poem format, more a train of thought.
