the shoe.A Poem by Vincent Esprit FMIA little thanks won't you........The shoe,
Today I am tired, Yet I must go on, My feet how they ache, Yet no rest shall I see, Every day I take you to the task, Somedays not even a little shine, To ease the burden of the scorching heat, Nor a little notice, I am just used and used, Yet I am faithful. I have no regrets, I now look for no return, This I now know, As I gladly serve, Yesteday as we walked I glimpsed my new home, Our new home, Or so I thought, My brother was not so lucky, He could not take the wear and tear, One morning he dispappeared without a word, Now I am in the cellar, WIth no one to serve, I loved my work.
