A Poem to My Fish, Java

A Poem to My Fish, Java

A Poem by vintageromance96

Swimming beautifully in a sea of ocean blue

Goes a fish of blue and red and green

He listens to the rhythm

And he listens to the rhyme of the radio underneath his tank

He knows his name

He knows the sound of my voice

Talented the fish is

He came from a Wal-Mart in New Bern, North Carolina

He traveled by car and then train to my house

And he would soon be calming me through my stress of surgery

He would be my friend when I had none with me

He would be my guardian angel when the nurses and my parents were off duty

He would be fed by the doctors when I couldn't

But he would always be loved by me

He blows me bubbles

And I would blow him kisses back

HE IS MY FISH! JAVA THE CUP!
