Neighbors

A Poem by vinny ciambriello
"

Your apartment house neighbors and the warmth there generated

"
Neighbors

The building is cold
 Not much heat
No one talks to you
Little noises
Doors closing
Footsteps
That's about it
Not much sign of anything
They shop
They carry stuff in
They must do something
With it
All these little worlds
I'll never know
Mostly, I don't care
But I wonder
Why I get this feeling
Something's going to happen soon
We'll all be out our doors
Talking
Like friends
Like we always were
The question is:
Who is going to take a dive
Off the roof
To make that happen?

This is really interesting. It reminds me of the town I live in. I like your writing style. It never fails to paint a picture in my mind. Good work.

I like the flow and the somethings-going-to-happen-soon vibe this has. Well done.

I liked the flow from beginning to end. it has a tangible yearning in it that helps the flow continue. A good piece.
