Mahogany Queen

Mahogany Queen

A Poem by heartsinice
"

A description of royalty!

"
To my mahogany queen so rare and special
Your skin releases the scent of sweet coco butter
Smile, beautiful as the tropical flowers in  Brazil
My Mahogany Queen
Who's eyes shine like the clear drops from a waterfall
You're heart and will as strong as the mighty redwood
To others your love is calculus, to me its simply basic
My Mahogany Queen
Hair natural as the soil on the earth
Lips more radiant than the falling sunset
You're soul which is more pure than blue flames
My Mahogany Queen
The color mahogany is such an astonishing color
It's so full of wonder and beauty
Made with perfection and grace
My Mahogany Queen

All women are queens, I just had to show love to one specifically for the culture.

Youre welcome! Glad you enjoyed the poem :)
Hi vinny.

The imagery in your poem is ample and lush.
It reads rich with adoration.
But I notice a distinct change in the last four lines: they almost feel a little out of place in relation to your preceding lines.
