Can I Be Your Cigarette?

Can I Be Your Cigarette?

A Poem by Stargazer
"

Autumn depression.

"
Can I be your cigarette?
Smoke me away until I end
Please let me be your cigarette
For if I die let it happen by your breath

Empty city
Hollow soul
Stand strong
Against the cold

Hold yourself against the wind
I kill your body but inspire your dream

September rain
All the same
Sadness, depression
Inner pain

If you want to hang
Let me be your rope
Time flies like sand
Fades away like smoke

Empty windows
False decisions
Clouds will fall
And engulf us all

With fire I burn, come and see
Or die with me

Nice flow and rhymes. It was a fun read and the pace was quick. Personally enjoyed your descriptive words as well. Thanks for sharing
