A Corporate Man

A Corporate Man

A Poem by Lost Pen

When I sit all alone , between the four walls

I can feel the blood , rushing through my valves.

I smoked my first joint , in the hope of  peace

But then I realised , the whole world is on lease.

I need to work, for my skin and for my bread ,

To get high and to realise my end.

My needs are not endless

Neither, my  desires are meaningless

But

You know

This Bad world takes a beast out of a man

Just to rename him as a corporate clan.
