Silent Cry

Silent Cry

A Poem by Victory H. Izevbekhai

Wet goes his pillow
A weeping willow
Full of grief and sorrow
His breath is hollow.

Laughing by day
Crying at night
It's a battlefield
His life a fight
Eyes are loosing sight;
Eyes full of tears hidden in plain sight.

Nobody needs see his war
Nobody needs partake in it
He's learnt to fight alone
And sometimes to accept defeat
