The Warrior who Failed to MezmerizeA Poem by QHe was not one of those people who sweeps you off your feet Nor is he someone of super-cool nature which you really wanna meet He lay in seclusion for quite a long time but he’d not mind Cause he was a pure oddity, one of a kind He never cried nor did he mourn but sadness surrounded him Like battle field and smoke, it was inseparable from him But he survived the hardships and learnt how to avoid new obstacles He became a warrior who could face even death and return victorious He waded through the sea of life like a dolphin, absolutely calm Within a very short time, he found the world within his palm One day, like the bolt from the blue came a flower to him It was not his but he wanted it to be and thus he found a partner The flower gave him the one thing which he had never seen, And he became addicted to that gift and he cared for nothing but her Happiness was that gift which he got only from her, And he knew that all his life, he must be a slave to her The warrior loved the flower and he cared for nothing but her, And the flower loved him too, but would never admit it For the warrior was inferior to her in all walks of life She could not leave him nor could she be with him Scarred, he was as he had been in battles all his life Beyond everything, he wanted some happiness in his life Due to his experience, he read through the flower’s mind And decided that he had to do something for her to be happy Should he stay with her and make her realize her love? Or should he leave her in hope that she finds solace elsewhere? He knew so much of life but he could not answer this Such is the power of love, it makes you know that you have a heart
