Let Me GoA Poem by Vidya BacchusKnowing something should be but never will be. by Vidya Bacchus and Jonathan Edward Furches Tell me to go otherwise I'll never leave, Wrapped in your arms I want to believe, That I belong here this is my home, And she's the one that can't leave you alone. Tell me we're wrong even though we feel right, Tell me you love her and I'll go without a fight, Don't sear me with kisses that ask me to stay, And damn me with promises that always go astray. Let me be let me go, Show me balance within the depth of cold, Allow my fears to find me near, Even I understand your greatest fear. I know your right within the fight, Your golden gloves I see, Hopes, leaps, bounds and promises, They are all my eyes can see. I need to leave but I have to stay, Destiny's tender I gladly pay, If today is ours then lets not ponder, If your tomorrow is promised to another.
